Following its successful first Budget Breakdown event, where Christopher Pyne brought his trademark wit together with insightful political and financial analysis, Showcase SA is looking ahead to its line-up of other great events in October.
A double-header at the picturesque Botanic Gardens Restaurant on October 20 will bring a unique opportunity for Showcase SA members to network and be inspired.
A morning member networking event will be held at 8:00am, affording the opportunity for members to connect and build their business collaboration with other members.
Be inspired at our Inspiring Leaders lunch
Then at lunchtime, Adelaide United’s head of football Bruce Djite will be Showcase SA’s Inspiring Leader for October, dining with Platinum member CEOs and decision-makers, and sharing his career journey.
Born in the USA to migrant parents from the Ivory Coast and Togo, Djite travelled to New South Wales with his family at a young age, and soon found himself donning the red jersey of Adelaide United, from which he launched a successful global football career.
He now works as the club’s head of football and champions diversity and inclusion in sport.
Learn from the best
Then on Thursday 22nd, join Dr Rebecca Hoile from Showcase SA member RiskLogic as this expert who counts the World Health Organisation and INTERPOL among her former employers steps members through a crisis and emergency management Masterclass.
Dr Hoile’s expertise may have been forged in the high-pressure environments of global security and health management, but her knowledge will be equally valuable to organisations here in Australia, where COVID-19 continues to play an unpredictable role for businesses across the country, especially Adelaide.
Then in November, the next instalment of our Industry Series will get underway, with forthcoming topics including logistics and supply chains, STEM and food and beverage industries.
