After an illustrious career as one of the mainstays of the Adelaide United Football Club and playing international football in Europe and Asia, Bruce Djite has risen through the ranks to become the Reds’ Director of Football.
Born in the United States and then migrating to New South Wales with his Ivorian father and Togolese mother, Djite played professional football across the world – including representing Australia – for over a decade.
He now leads Adelaide United’s football program into a new era challenged by COVID-19 and the presented by new opportunities through gender and cultural diversity in professional sport.

Bruce Djite is a former Socceroo and Adelaide United player whose career spans Australia, Korea, Indonesia and Turkey.
He is a championship player with Adelaide United, the club’s leading goalscorer, and current Director of Football.
