Adelaide’s Botanic Lodge has officially launched its highly anticipated Chihuly Dinner Experience, offering a one-of-a-kind dining event set against the stunning backdrop of the Adelaide Botanic Garden. This exclusive experience pairs a thoughtfully curated set menu by Chef Tom Tilbury with a visit to the Chihuly Exhibition, a breathtaking glass art installation by world-renowned artist Dale Chihuly, on display until April 29th, 2025.
A Menu Inspired by the Seasons
The Lodge’s Set Dinner Menu, available Friday and Saturday nights, celebrates South Australian produce with dishes that highlight the region’s best ingredients. Guests can enjoy zucchini carpaccio with whipped ricotta and garden herbs, greenslade chicken with mustard and lemon thyme gravy, and a nostalgic lamington with quandong jam and coconut ice cream. The Set Dinner Menu is available for $99 per person, including a Chihuly Exhibition ticket, or $79 for those who already have one.
For a more casual option, the Grazing Snacks Menu is available all day and during Chihuly Nights, featuring seasonal small plats designed to complement the beauty of the gardens at twilight. Highlights include blue crab toast with crème faiche and sorrel, Lodge mini pasty with mushroom preserve, and Massi hand-crafted charcuterie.
An Evening Beyond the Plate
Head Chef Tom Tilbury describes the Chihuly Dinner Experience as an immersive way to enjoy food, art, and nature in perfect harmony.
“The Lodge is about bringing people together over great food in a space that feels alive. Whether for a casual snack or a special dinner, we want every visit to celebrate South Australian produce and feel like an experience intertwined with nature.”
With its lakeside setting, warm ambience, and vibrant energy, The Lodge offers the perfect backdrop for romantic evenings, gatherings with friends, or a unique night out in the city.
