The JLF Trek takes place this May, and the Jodi Lee Foundation are calling on you to lace up your walking shoes and take part in this incredible fundraising event.
Held on Friday 16 & Saturday 17 May, in the Encounter Bay and Myponga region, every step you take helps support the Jodi Lee Foundation’s vital work in raising awareness of bowel cancer, promoting early detection, and saving lives.
Whether you’re tackling one or two days, this scenic and rewarding trek is more than just a physical challenge – it’s a chance to make a real difference in the fight against bowel cancer, Australia’s second deadliest cancer, and the leading cancer killer in 25–49 year-olds.
By joining The JLF Trek, you’ll be supporting life-saving initiatives and awareness programs that encourage people to take charge of their health and detect bowel cancer early, when treatment is more effective.
Jodi Lee Foundation recently welcomed Showcase SA’s Steve Testar as a JLF Ambassador. Steve has been a long-time supporter of the Jodi Lee Foundation and now, as a JLF Ambassador, he’ll be helping to raise awareness about the importance of bowel cancer prevention and early detection and inspiring South Australians to rally behind fundraising events like The JLF Trek.
In fact, you can support the Foundation by joining the Showcase SA JLF Trek team. Alternatively, you can set-up your own corporate trek team.

With a variety of distances available – 19k, 24.5k 32k or 67k (over two days), there’s an option for everyone – whether you’re a seasoned trekker or a first-timer.
