SPONSORED – Help us home elephants!

Picture the plains of Monarto Safari Park… then walking towards you, three mighty elephants. With your help, this vision could become a reality.

Meet Burma, Permai and Putra Mas; three much-loved Asian Elephants who are looking for their forever home.

The elephants currently live at Auckland and Perth zoos, wallowing in pools and sampling bananas from adoring keepers. But there’s one thing that can make their lives even better – moving to Monarto Safari Park and enjoying the space and social structure that the largest open range park in the country can offer.

But we need your support to raise an elephant-sized amount of money and fast!

Run, walk or wheelchair wild

Want something more physical? Join the first ever ‘Run wild’ challenge at Monarto Safari Park and run, walk or wheelchair 3km, 10km, 20km or 40km to raise money to home three Asian elephants at Monarto Safari Park.

Join us on 21 October 2023 at Monarto Safari Park or virtually take part anywhere between 20-22 October!

While many believe that we are Government-run, we are not. We are a private conservation charity. To home these elephants, we need to fundraise and we are hoping that you will help us create a forever home for these gorgeous animals.
