South Aussie icon goes Krispy Kreme

Krispy Kreme SA Violet Crumble 12 pack

Krispy Kreme Doughnuts has embraced a South Australian icon for a new product range launching across OTR stores today.

The iconic Violet Crumble is the star of the new range, which will be sold in four packs at Krispy Creme as Violet Crumble Shatter and Violet Crumble Kreme at over 150 OTR stores across South Australia.

OTR’s other retail brands will jump on board the Violet Crumble love fest with other unique products – its C-Coffee outlets will offer Violet Crumble Hot Chocolate and Violet Crumble Mocha Latte, while Moe’s will sell Moe’s Violet Crumble Shakes.

“We’re always innovating and creating new products to give our customers new ways of experiencing and enjoying Krispy Kreme doughnuts,” says Mark Higginbottom, SA general manager of Krispy Kreme.

“Our team has been working closely with Robern Menz over the past few months on developing and refining the products ready for launch to ensure we capture what people love most about Krispy Kreme and Violet Crumble.”

Violet Crumble is a distinctly South Australian brand with Robern Menz acquiring the brand from Nestle in 2018, in turn creating 40 jobs across a 24-hour production process.

For more information on the new products, visit Krispy Kreme or find your local OTR.

OTR is a Showcase SA Platinum Member operating over 150 petrol and convenience stores across South Australia. Find out how you can become a member of South Australia’s premier business networking community here.
