Leading South Australian digital marketing agency Market Ease Digital is making their first foray into video content creation, acquiring Adelaide-based Typeface Productions.

As part of the deal, the Typeface name will be retained, along with co-founders Kirk Cameron and Aiden Smith – as Creative Director and Cinematographer respectively.

Market Ease Founder and CEO Binh An Nguyen, who will guide the strategic direction of Typeface as Managing Director, says the two businesses are a natural fit – with strongly aligned values and a shared dedication to quality.

“As long-term clients of Typeface, we’ve built a strong and trusted working relationship with them, and know that their work is world-class.”

“Market Ease clients expect excellence, so we continuously invest in building value and quality – this acquisition is a perfect example of that commitment,” Nguyen says.

Cameron and Smith, both highly skilled filmmakers, say that joining Market Ease is the realisation of a goal for their business and will allow them to focus on delivering the high-quality production they are known for.

“Our hearts are in quality production – it’s why we started Typeface and it’s where we do our best work. Joining Market Ease allows us to focus on that more than ever, with increased resources, greater efficiency, and a strong support structure,” says Cameron and Smith.

Nguyen says that the ability to tell client stories with cinematic-quality video is a big boost for Market Ease and the next logical step in their growth strategy.

“I’m a big believer in the power of storytelling, and video is the best medium for this. In-house, high quality video production has been on our radar for quite some time, and with Typeface Productions, we now have some of the best in the business,” says Nguyen.

He believes the addition of Typeface will further bolster Market Ease Digital’s strong position in the industry, making them even more competitive.

“We are leaders in what we do and so are they. Acquiring Typeface allows us to expand our service offering and removes the need for clients to source their content production elsewhere,” Nguyen explains, “It allows us to provide even more value to our clients.”

Luke Harrison, currently a Manager with Market Ease Digital, will take on the role of Director of Operations for Typeface Productions.

Founded by Nguyen in 2006, Market Ease Digital is a leading provider of digital advertising services to Australian and International businesses. Their clients range from local and national SME’s to international corporate brands and government.
