The Hospital Research Foundation and Showcase SA Partner to Launch “The Longest Table” 2021, Raising Funds for Cancer Research

Showcase South Australia is honoured to partner with The Hospital Research Foundation Group to launch their 2021 “The Longest Table” fundraising campaign.

Tragically, 50,000 people lose their life to cancer each year. It’s The Hospital Research Foundation Group’s mission to raise funds to help find new ways to prevent, treat, and cure this relentless disease through their annual fundraising initiative, The Longest Table.

On Friday July 23, Showcase SA and The Hospital Research Foundation Group are coming together to host the first of The Longest Table events with special guest, NINE NEWS presenter Will McDonald.

Will has spent the last year battling prostate cancer after he was diagnosed at just 42 years old. McDonald will share with guests his journey from diagnosis to treatment, to where he is now and his collaborative work with The Hospital Research Foundation Group to raise awareness about the importance of cancer research and looking after your health.

The Luncheon will be hosted at the renowned CBD venue Ayers House, and will feature various fundraising activities throughout the event including: live auction for a skydiving experience with Will thanks to SA Skydiving, raffle draws with hampers of South Australian produce thanks to Haigh’s, and a Hither & Yon wine wall.
