Fuller Brand Communication recognised as Australia’s leading sustainable creative agency at Mumbrella Awards

Independent creative agency Fuller Brand Communication has been Highly Commended in the Mumbrella Award for Sustainable Practices at the 2021 Mumbrella Awards.

The award, introduced for the first time in 2021, recognises entrants from the media and marketing industry in Australia and New Zealand that have encouraged and promoted sustainability within a team, a wider business or in work with clients and partners.

Fuller was the only creative agency to receive an award in the category, alongside sustainability publication, Peppermint Magazine, which won the category.

Fuller’s award entry outlined its strategic approach to adopting and promoting long term sustainable and ethical practices and its accreditation in these areas.

In December 2020 Fuller achieved carbon neutral certification through the Federal Government’s Climate Active Program and in January 2021 was awarded BCorp certification through the global BLab program.

Fuller’s Managing Director Peter Fuller said it was an honour to be recognised as a leader in the marketing industry for sustainable practices.

“Fuller has a 28-year history of contributing to the sustainability of urban and regional communities, not for profits and social organisations,” he said.

“In 2019-20 we decided to formalise our efforts and created a sustainability strategy and the first step was to seek independent certification to benchmark our sustainability credentials.

“We are very proud of the fact that Fuller is the first marketing agency in Australia to achieve both Carbon Neutral certification and BCorp certification and we are thrilled that our efforts have been further recognised through these awards.

“As creatives we are important agents of change. We have made a commitment as a business that we will aim to use our skills for the good of our clients, our local community, our staff, our children and the planet they will inherit.”

Fuller was shortlisted for the award alongside industry peers including Finder Green; OMD Australia; Peppermint Magazine; The Purple Hive Project – Thinkerbell for Bega Foods / B-Honey and VB Solar Exchange – Clemenger BBDO Melbourne with PHD Melbourne, CUBHouse, Clemenger PR and Multiplier Media for CUB.

Fuller is a family owned brand communication agency specialising in creative services including branding, design, communications and digital. Fuller was founded in 1993 by Managing Director Peter Fuller and employs 30 staff.

The Mumbrella Awards have been running since 2010 and celebrate the best work and talent across the marketing, advertising, media, production, PR and communications sectors in Australia and New Zealand.
