Jodi Lee Foundation are thrilled to announce that they are hosting an exciting new event with cricketing legends Lord Ian Botham and Merv Hughes on Friday 6th December 2024 at the Adelaide Festival Centre, just before the Day/Night Match action starts at the Adelaide Oval.
The ‘Breakfast with the Rivals’ Charity Event will feature an up-close and personal Q&A session with Ian and Merv, hosted by Sports Presenter and Jodi Lee Foundation Ambassador Max Burford. Guests will be treated to cricketing stories and banter from the two cricketing legends, while witnessing firsthand the iconic rivalry between the pair, which will no doubt get the crowd into the spirit of the Adelaide Day/Night Test Match before it begins.
On the day you will also hear from bowel cancer survivor Nick Dugmore, winemaker at Stoke Wines, who will share his incredible story.
Guests will be treated to stories and banter from the two cricketing legends, all while enjoying a hot plated breakfast, free flowing tea and coffee and much more.
The Jodi Lee Foundation will be running a Raffle and a cricket bat Reverse Auction to raise funds to help continue their fight against bowel cancer. To purchase individual tickets and tables of 10, please register online before tickets sell out!
