Barossa Luxury Retreat Undergoes Multi-Million Dollar Upgrade

Kingsford The Barossa spent almost a decade on our televisions as the set of hit Australian series, McLeod’s Daughters, and has now undergone a multi-million dollar upgrade.

The property dates back to 1856, with the Ahrens family establishing it as one of Australia’s leading luxury venues, for both accommodation and weddings. Just a 45-minute drive from the Adelaide CBD, the newly expanded 225-acre property now offers sixteen suites making it the ultimate retreat.

The property also includes five-star dining experience and several unique bars, including a bar for the Ivy Pool and The Kegelbahn bar with attached German indoor bowling alley.

Surrounded by the Barossa Valley, guests can take in the panoramic views in the conservatory, set out on the property’s walking trails, or take their picnic hamper and champagne to the private bathing deck for a Bush Bath experience.

Kingsford is set to re-open August 2021 yet is taking group and event bookings from June 26, 2021.
