Join Orana for An Evening Under the Stars

In today’s society, the focus on inclusivity and accessibility has never been more prevalent. One organisation leading the way in empowering and celebrating people with disability in South Australia is Orana – an NDIS provider that provides supported employment, accommodation, short-term accommodation, community options, and life skills to support South Australians with disability.

On November 29th, the team at Orana is hosting their end-of-year ball, ‘An Evening Under the Stars’ – an annual event hosted at the beautiful historic Ayers House, providing the perfect backdrop for an evening filled with glamour, celebration, and camaraderie.

The Evening Under the Stars Ball is more than just an annual celebration; it is a heartfelt celebration of International Day of People with Disability, acknowledging the contributions and achievements of people with disability. It provides a platform for people to come together, enjoy a spectacular evening, and share in the spirit of unity.

Jim Liu, Orana’s Chief Executive Officer, expresses the significance of this event as a platform for promoting inclusivity. “Events like ‘An Evening Under the Stars’ are rare and significant. At Orana, we’re proud to host an event of this kind, and we are committed to making a memorable, inclusive celebration for everyone.”

Vicki Cotis, Orana’s Executive Manager of Branding and Customer Experience, echoes the sentiment, “Our mission is to promote the inclusion of people with disability as valued members of the broader community. ‘An Evening Under the Stars’ perfectly captures the very essence of unity and celebration that we strive for.”

The evening itself is designed to offer something for everyone, and this year’s ball is no exception. The Evening Under the Stars Ball promises a delightful experience, with a three-course meal featuring local South Australian cuisine and wines, live entertainment, and a dance floor that is sure to keep guests on their feet. From the stunning marquee set up on the lawns of Ayers House to the finely crafted ambiance, the event aims to be an unforgettable experience for all who attend.

Orana Ambassadors, Amanda, Josh and Ryan, will be leading the proceedings as event MCs, bringing their confidence and charisma to the stage.

The 2024 edition of the ball continues to build on the foundation laid in previous years, ensuring that the event is a central fixture in Adelaide’s social calendar for years to come.
