With just a two-week lead time, Showcase SA was engaged to support Airspeeder in the planning and delivery of its exclusive VIP launch event at The Bend Motorsport Park, where the company unveiled its revolutionary Alauda Airspeeder Mk4 and officially launched the Airspeeder International Series.
Bringing together industry leaders, potential sponsors, partners and invited guests, the event provided an exclusive opportunity to experience the future of advanced air mobility and witness firsthand the technology that is redefining autonomous flight and electric motorsport.
Despite the short turnaround, our team quickly integrated with Airspeeder’s event delivery team, attending planning meetings with both the client and venue to provide logistical support, identify technical event requirements and ensure every operational detail was considered ahead of event day.
Showcase SA also sourced and coordinated a range of event suppliers, including furniture hire, entertainment, vehicle reveal cover, VIP lanyards and printing. By managing supplier quotations and coordinating these event elements, we helped to streamline the planning process while delivering a premium guest experience.
Our support extended across multiple touchpoints with the client and guests, acting as a concierge with any transportation recommendations to make their way seamlessly to the venue. Media present on the day came to our team for any logistical support to ensure they could interview the relevant Airspeeder representative and capture coverage around scheduled events throughout the day. Additionally, we captured behind-the-scenes social media content throughout the event as the excitement and innovation elements unfolded.
The launch marked a significant milestone for Airspeeder as it introduced the Mk4 racecraft following its world-first experimental certification by Australia’s Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA). Guests also witnessed demonstration flights featuring Team Australia and Team Italia, showcasing the next generation of electric flying racecraft and the cutting-edge AI systems that power the future of autonomous aviation.
As the world’s first electric flying car racing series, Airspeeder is driving innovation across aerospace, artificial intelligence and advanced mobility.
