For one exclusive and dazzling evening, join the History Trust of South Australia, celebrating the 30th Anniversary of The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, at the stunning Art Deco Piccadilly Cinema in North Adelaide.
Sunday 8 September marks the 30th Anniversary of the Australian cinematic release of the iconic movie that captured hearts worldwide.
To celebrate the History Trust of South Australia is hosting an exclusive screening, and Q&A with original movie Executive Producer, Rebel Penfold-Russell at Wallis’ Piccadilly Cinema.
Part proceeds of ticket sales will go towards the Save the Queen fundraising campaign to restore the original 1974 Hino Freighter bus AKA Priscilla to fabulous condition and exhibit her in a brilliant interactive exhibition at the National Motor Museum of Australia at Birdwood.
As well as hearing from the movie’s Executive Producer, Rebel Penfold-Russell, ticket holders will enjoy a show with local legend and Priscilla Glambassador Vonni and Drag Artistes from Mary’s Poppin.
Join the History Trust at the Piccadilly Cinema North Adelaide from 5pm to kick off the festivities. Photo opportunities with the 7 foot giant high heel and Priscilla display.
