Supercars drivers Todd Hazelwood and Dean Canto swapped blind corners for a blind tasting yesterday with OTR setting them the challenge of identifying iconic SA food and drinks, while blindfolded.
This weekend’s OTR SuperSprint at The Bend Motorsport Park (operated by Showcase SA members Peregrine Corporation) will feature both pilots on track in the Supercars and support categories.
Hazelwood, 24, grew up in Athelstone and races with Brad Jones Racing, while 39-year-old Canto resides in Adelaide after a full-time Supercars career, and still races in the endurance events.
Among the showcase of SA products were Farmers Union Iced Coffee, Balfours Meat Pies, Balfours Frog Cakes and Robern Menz FruChocs.
