Showcase SA launched our Regional Series in June with the Port Lincoln Business Accelerator. With the support of BankSA, RSM Australia, and The Department for Trade and Investment, our Regional Series provides professional development and networking opportunities to the business community across our state.
The Port Lincoln Business Accelerator was the first instalment of our Regional Series, including four expert-led masterclasses and a business luncheon with the Hon. Stephen Patterson MP, Minister for Trade & Investment.
Market Ease CEO, Binh Nguyen hosted the first session of the day. Responsible for brands such as Maggie Beer products and Edible Blooms, Binh delivered his Masterclass on digital marketing and e-commerce.
With over 95 years of experience, RSM Australia is one of the largest taxation firms in the country and hosted the second session, sharing taxation tips. This was followed by the Founder of Culturise, Jo Marshall, who led her session “The New World of Leadership – Where Wellness Meets High Performance”. Jo shared how business owners and their teams can manage stress to improve productivity.
The Department for Trade and Investment finished the day, bringing together decision makers from businesses to share insight on growth through export and investment in a panel-style session.
Among those in attendance was The Port Lincoln Chamber of Commerce & Tourism. Vice Chair, Sharni-Marie Barney acknowledged the event’s success, stating she “was so impressed with the high calibre of speakers at the event and outstanding quality of information being presented. It was a brilliant opportunity for growing businesses to network and hear… all the recent updates…. and keys to expanding your business beyond your local environment.”
