Showcase SA and Skills SA’s First Approved Project!

Building on the trust and collaboration within the Showcase SA community we are excited to announce that Showcase SA has been successful in our application for a Skilling SA Project. This is an inaugural collaboration between Showcase SA, the Department for Innovation and Skills SA, MEGT (Australia) Ltd and Time Education and Training.

This means that Showcase SA can connect people with employment opportunities within an Early Childhood Centre with enrolment into Nationally Accredited Training.

Here is what we are offering:

CHC30121 Certificate III Early Childhood Education and Care

Who is it for? This is open to anyone looking for a career change or to start a new career. The entry requirements are specified below.

What’s in it for you? Nationally Accredited Training whilst being paid to work as an Educator in the Childcare industry (on the job training). No out of pocket expenses for the applicant as long as you meet the eligibility criteria.

The course is expected to be completed in 8 months based on one day a week face-to-face training. This enrolment is a minimum requirement for anyone working within the Childcare industry.

Successful applicants will be employed by an Early Childhood Education provider who will support your learning pathway. With multiple locations throughout metropolitan Adelaide.

Criteria:

• All eligible participants will be enrolled under a Contract of Training.
• Must be Australian Citizen/Permanent Resident
• Resident of South Australia
• Not currently on an existing Training Contract
• Be 18 years or older
