An exclusive day of fine food, storytelling, and stunning surrounds at Rumi on Louth.
As part of the Tasting Australia 2025 program, Rumi on Louth will open its shores to a select group of guests for an unforgettable day of island indulgence
This exclusive event invites seafood lovers to journey across the sea to Louth Island, home to South Australia’s first private island luxury eco-resort. Limited to just 80 guests, the experience blends the region’s finest produce with Rumi’s signature sense of place – offering a rare opportunity to taste the Eyre Peninsula as it was meant to be enjoyed.
After arriving via amphibious Sealegs Vessel, Canapes and paired drinks will be provided at three stops along the way, with chefs and producers on hand to offer their insights.
A seated three-course lunch at the new Samphire restaurant is next. Be among the first to discover this remarkable property, created with wild indulgence at its heart. We’ll keep the specifics a surprise, but expect to see a full spectrum of Eyre Peninsula Produce – Xazander oysters, Hanna V prawns, Balmoral Lamb and followed by an Eyre Roasted dessert.
The culinary journey concludes at Rumi’s award-winning Samphire Restaurant, where a long-table lunch will showcase a multi-course seafood menu paired with premium local wines. The setting is as memorable as the food – panoramic coastal views, elegant design, and a warm, immersive atmosphere.
This is more than a long lunch. It’s a rare chance to discover the soul of the Eyre Peninsula, to connect with the people and producers who brings its flavours to life, and to explore one of the country’s most breathtaking private destinations.
Tickets are $595 per person and include all food, drinks, transfers, and guided tastings.
