Chloe Kempe, newly appointed CEO of SACARE
Latest CEO appointment ushers in new era for family run disability provider.
It is with absolute pleasure that SACARE would like to announce Chloe Kempe as the company’s new Chief Executive Officer.
Daughter of company founders Andrew and Sue Marshall, Chloe has worked across all levels of the business – including cleaning the supported accommodation and providing personal care to clients after completing school and studying.
After a career in Marketing and Public Relations with Hyatt Hotel Group, Chloe returned to SACARE in the early 2000’s. Transferring her skills and knowledge she acquired in the hotel and service industry to support the rapid growth SACARE has experienced in recent years.
“I am exceptionally proud to be given the opportunity to step into the role of CEO of our family business and continue the legacy of the Marshall family. I have been directly involved in the business for the past 14 years, but watched from the sidelines while my parents and family built the business from a small boarding house in 1995 to what it is today.” stated Kempe.
“I am so passionate and committed to providing the individuals we provide services to, with empowerment and creating a life they want to live, not what they are told they should live.”The SACARE Board has been working on restructuring the business to ensure that the company is well placed to properly manage the growth we have experienced over the past few years. As part of longer-term group management and operational planning, the Board has also given a lot of thought to implementing the inevitable ‘family’ successional changes within the business.
Board Chair, Monika Leniger said “Since joining SACARE, I have personally witnessed Chloe’s growth in terms of developing her business acumen and have enjoyed seeing her develop the ability to lead teams in a manner befitting the CEO position of SACARE.”
