SCOPE GLOBAL

TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT

About Scope Global

Scope Global delivers inclusive international education, training and skills development in the Indo Pacific. We build human and organisational capacity that leads to sustainable change.

Scope Global was originally incorporated as Austraining International in 1991, a corporate venture between the SA Department of TAFE, SAGRIC Pty Ltd (a then Government of South Australia-owned company) and TAFE NSW.

The company’s original purpose was to deliver technical training in Indonesia.

As the business continued to grow, it branched into additional practice areas consistent with the State Government’s policy objectives such as scholarships and mobility, disability services and international development projects.

In 2014, the company rebranded and changed its name to Scope Global.

The Government of South Australia has been the sole shareholder since the year 2000, with the current shareholder being the Treasurer, Hon Rob Lucas MLC.

Our key clients and partners are the Australian Government Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, the Department of Education, Employment and Skills, national and sub-national governments in our region, universities and educational institutions, and businesses seeking to improve their access and inclusion.
