About Operation Flinders Foundation
The Operation Flinders Foundation exists to transform the lives of young people through remote outback adventure programs.
Their programs build optimism, belonging, hope and social and emotional wellbeing through a focus on Resilience, Purpose and Connection. They are unique and proven, and to date, over 10,000 young people have experienced their adventure therapy programs. The Foundation’s core program is held over 8 days in the northern Flinders Ranges for young people aged 13 – 18 who come from al across South Australia and are typically referred to Operation Flinders as part of a team of 10 from one school or agency. During the core program, young people can trek up to 100km, experience abseiling, Indigenous culture, bushcraft and build self-confidence through challenging themselves.
Once a young person completes the core program, they are invited to join the Next Step Program, opening them up to a world of opportunity and growth to transform their lives!
