SPEAKERS

Bec is a 6th generation member of, and the first female vigneron from one of Australia’s oldest wine families, the Hardys. With degrees in Viticultural Science and Business, she has worked for two decades across the UK and Australian wine markets, gaining extensive experience in wine production, marketing and exporting.

After establishing Bec Hardy Wines in 2015 and acquiring the Peratinga wine brand from her father’s business in 2020, she’s now making her own way in the Australian wine world with a modern twist on 170 years of winemaking heritage.

Six generations of stubborn, competitive growers and one equally spirited winemaker – that’s the Oliver family. Living smack bang in the middle of McLaren Vale, they flourish on producing perfect parcels of fruit on their 100 hectare ‘Taranga’ property. Their collection of small batch, handcrafted wines speak of both the variety and vintage, capturing a time and place, while continuing to document the family’s ongoing 182 year relationship with the land.

Corrina Wright is Owner and winemaker for family business Oliver’s Taranga Vineyards in McLaren Vale, the sixth generation to farm the same land. Corinna also owns craft beer business Swell Brewing Co and a 40-acre vineyard in McLaren Vale. Corinna sits on the boards of the Australian Wine Research Institute and Australian Women in Wine Awards. She was awarded the 2019 ASVO Winemaker of the Year & won the 2021 Family Business Australia Leading Women in Family Business award. Corrina is passionate about bringing cultural change and diversity to our wine community.
