On February 13th, Showcase South Australia held an Industry Insight Luncheon on Trade & Investment. Guests enjoyed an intimate two-course lunch at the Atura and heard from Andy Will, Group General Manager of Seapa, an innovative company that designs, manufactures and distributes a range of solutions that help farmers to grow the best shellfish in the world. Seapa’s innovative injection-moulded plastic oyster baskets have changed the nature of Australian oyster farming over the last 20 years, helping grow better quality oysters at lower costs.
Andy shared with us how he has developed a strong, export-based manufacturing business in South Australia along with the lessons learnt from years of exporting. He also outlined the key elements of his business model that have provided a foundation for success.
