Gin, Networking, and Branding with Prohibition Liquor Co. - Showcase SA

Gin, Networking, and Branding with Prohibition Liquor Co.

Showcase SA members had the chance to attend our latest industry luncheon, Gins in June, hosted by the amazing team at Prohibition Liquor Co., mixing the art of building genuine connections with gin tasting. South Australian business leaders were able to engage with likeminded individuals across several industries, giving the chance to do business differently.

Founder of Toolbox, a multidisciplinary graphic design and communication studio operating within the distillery, Adam Carpenter delivered an insightful presentation based around branding. This lead to an insightful discussion on the value of brand in a challenging market, and its relationship with continued business development. During his presentation, guests learnt about the significance of a strong brand identity, being ‘what people say about your brand when you’re not there,’ and its contribution to success. Adam showcased real examples of his work, resonating with attendees and providing them with valuable takeaways for building their brands presence.

In addition to his work with Toolbox, Adam is also the founder and CEO of Prohibition, and treated guests to a flight of gins to taste, each offering unique flavours, sharing the stories of their conception. Adam also described his journey in starting the distillery, highlighting the challenges he faced along the way and giving insight into the liquor industry. Not only were members treated to great tasting gin, but there were also platters of delicious food, ensuring no one missed out.

The event highlighted the importance of community and collaboration, giving Adam the opportunity to share his gained knowledge with our members. It was a day of learning, tasting and connecting, leaving attendees with new ideas and inspiration for their businesses.
