Fresh 92.7 Release New ‘Cale Porter Apple Cider’

With what has been dubbed a rollercoaster year, as we navigated through our fair share of lockdowns, masks and limited dancing, we can now say we have finally made it to the end of the year – and what better way to celebrate the festive season than by cracking open a fresh Cider.

But imagine if you could crack open a cider with your own face on it. It’s a distant dream for many, except for legendary Fresh 92.7 drive home show announcer Cale Porter, who turned his dream into a reality.

Early last month, Fresh 92.7 announced Cale Porters collaboration with local Adelaide Brewery, Big Shed Brewing Co., where they set out to create an epic Apple Cider, just in time for Christmas.

The Cider, named ‘Cale for the Drive Home, End of Year, Apple Cider at Home’, has Cales smiling face plastered over the body of the can and is made out of Adelaide Hills Apples, showcasing a great local team up of business.

Despite having the longest name in history, the cider is one for the books and a bucket list item that Cale can most definitely tick off.

What’s even better, Fresh 92.7 are giving away the Cider to every loyal listener that called in to the radio station throughout the year!

Not a fan of Cider or have some little Cale Porter fans?

Don’t Stress. Cale and his much loved pink and white Ice Cream Van will be at Fulham Gardens Shopping Centre this Thursday, 9 December.

Come along from 4-7pm as Cale broadcast live for his last show and grab yourself some free ice cream!
