Prohibition Liquor Co-celebrates 10 Years of Defying Convention

Prohibition Liquor Co is marking a major milestone: its 10th birthday, on the eve of Repeal Day, the anniversary of the end of America’s Prohibition era. What began as a bold dream between two mates has grown into an award-winning distillery recognised around the world, and now, we’re raising a glass to a decade of flavour, innovation, and defiance.

To celebrate, Prohibition Liquor Co is throwing a 10th Anniversary Party at its Gilbert Street distillery on Thursday, 4 December, inviting the community to join in an all-day celebration of great gin, great food, and great company.

To top off this celebration, they will officially release a limited-release gin to mark the occasion. A century ago, the world tried to silence the spirit. But the bold, the curious, and the creative found a way– hidden stills, secret recipes, and whispered toasts behind closed doors. From that same spirit of rebellion, Prohibition Liquor Co was born. Ten years on, Prohibition is raising a glass to that legacy; to craftsmanship without compromise, and to the pursuit of flavour and freedom in every drop.

This special-release gin is distilled with 10 botanicals from 10 of the most iconic gins they’ve crafted over the last decade, each chosen to represent the evolution of craft and the defiant creativity behind
every bottle.
