Rainbow Fresh

For two generations Rainbow Fresh has grown, harvested, processed, and packed fresh produce in Lewiston, South Australia.

Joe Giangregorio founded the business over 50 years ago and still takes part in the day-to-day running of Rainbow Fresh. At 84 he still is one of the most passionate and experienced leaders of the Horticultural Industry you will ever meet. However, his daughters Maria Colangelo, Farm Manager and Julie Tripodi, Sales and Distribution Manager together now run the business and look after the 3 sectors that are Rainbow Fresh, Farming, Processing and Sales and Distribution.

The business has focused on specialising in producing fresh leafy salad greens for over 30 years and has established itself as a leader, within the state, offering authentic “paddock to plate” produce for both the retail outlets and hospitality arena.The 300-acre property is a well-established horticultural zone offering fertile rich growing soil and a Mediterranean-type climate that allows 12-month year-round production. It is an ideal location for producing a product that is rich in flavour, high in nutrients, has an exceptional shelf life, and is robust in texture.

Rainbow Fresh products include Salad Mixes, Baby Spinach, Wild Rocket, Kale, and speciality salad lines. Our new state-of-the-art processing facility completed in 2022 processes tonnes of produce daily and packs our product into various sizes ranging from our 60g Snack Pack to bulk 3kg boxes.We are proud to offer less than 12 hours turnaround from our Farm to our Distribution Centre, ensuring our customers receive the freshest produce possible.
