About Nature Foundation

Established in 1981, Nature Foundation is South Australia’s largest private land conservancy and Australia’s third largest private land conservancy. It works to conserve, restore, and protect Australian landscapes, flora, and fauna to ensure their survival for future generations. 

The member-based non-profit organisation engages in a range of conservation programs, including scientific research, land acquisition and management, Aboriginal youth engagement through the Kids on Country™ Junior Ranger Program, nature-based tourism, nature-based solutions and nature-positive services, and more. Through solid relationships with multiple stakeholders, Nature Foundation creates innovative solutions to improve biodiversity across South Australia and beyond. Nature Foundation owns and manages seven nature reserves across South Australia, with a combined are of over 500,000 hectares (5,000 km2). Supporters can get involved with Nature Foundation as a corporate partner, volunteer, member or donor.
