Loftus Technology Partnership Launches Australia’s First Free Software Development School

Proud Showcase SA Member and Industry Series Sponsor, Loftus Technology, in partnership with 42 Adelaide, launches Australia’s first free software development school.

Loftus Technology is all about supporting growth – for their clients, people, and community. Jumping at the opportunity to partner with KIK Innovation and the Department of Industry and Skills, Loftus Technology’s initiative will support up to 450 students a year. The campus targets any students of 16 years of age, from any background , offering a curriculum that will give them software coding qualifications, and will place them in the Space and Defence sectors where these skills are in high demand.

Moving away from the traditional school model, 42 Adelaide will provide flexible, peer-to-peer learning to align disadvantaged youth with a range of job pathways. The inclusive school is open to anyone in Adelaide over the age of 16, providing access to word-class coding skills no matter their experience. Loftus Technology has funded the facilities and fit out, along with supplying and maintaining the technology ecosystem which make up the 24/7 campus.

John Stronnar, CEO of Loftus Technology, shared “This partnership demonstrates what can happen when a start-up partners with a grown up to create a highly scalable national business. For us it is about giving a hand up, rather than a handout, so 42 School aligns well with our aim to deliver your growth answers”.

Congratulations Loftus Technology on this milestone.
