Showcase SA Launches Regional Series Business Accelerator

Showcase SA is proud to announce the launch of the Regional Series in the form of our “Business Accelerator”, a day to connect the business community of South Australia’s regions, beginning with Port Lincoln this June. 

With the support of our proud partners BankSA, RSM Australia, and The Department for Trade and Investment, the Business Accelerator offers an opportunity for business owners in South Australia’s regional areas access to short masterclasses providing tangible skills to take their business to the next level, connect, and be informed of emerging opportunities. 

Topics throughout the day will cover Digital Marketing Strategies and e-Commerce for regions, Taxation for Business, Economic Growth Through International Connections (exporting and investment), and Mental Health and Adaptability. 

Event attendees will also enjoy a 2 course luncheon at the Port Lincoln Hotel with an opportunity to meet and speak with the Hon. Stephen Patterson MP, Minister for Trade and Investment.

The full day program of masterclasses will be delivered by industry experts in their field including:

  • Binh An Nguyen,  CEO of Market Ease. Specialist in digital marketing and e-commerce. Market Ease are responsible for brands such as Maggie Beer products, Edible Blooms, and Cup n Carry (part of the Detmold Group) just to name a few, as well as working on a campaign for the Obama administration. 
  • RSM Australia, one of the largest taxation firms in the country who have been helping Australian business owners for over 95 years. This Masterclass will be lead by Director, RSM Australia in Adelaide Matthew Gordge, and Director, RSM Australia in Port Lincoln Jed Carson.
  • Jo Marshall, Founder of Culturise, sharing her years of expertise with a session on “The New World of Leadership – Where Wellness Meets High Performance”. Jo will provide tangible tools help business owners and their teams manage stress in a way that improves time management and productivity, as well as simple steps for holding people more accountable, providing more confidence in handling performance issues.
  • The Department for Trade and Investment, with your local representative sharing tips on growth through export and investment

Showcase SA will be taking the Business Accelerator to a region within South Australia once per quarter, including Kangaroo Island, The Riverland, and The Limestone Coast.
