Increase accessibility with Human Guide Training

A small learning experience for one person can make a world of difference to another.

Human Guide Training (HGT) is a technique used to assist someone who lives with vision loss to move safely, efficiently and confidently through their surroundings. HGT teaches a valuable skill set that all organisations can take part in to become more accessible and inclusive. This upskilling can be applied in workplace settings for colleagues as well as customers, and empowers your staff with knowledge that extends into our wider community.

As many organisations take steps in their Access and Inclusion plans, Guide Dogs SA/NT, one of Australia’s most trusted charities, can help your business continue to improve accessibility.

Training is available for groups and individuals, running for two hours, and can be held at our offices or a nominated location. Guide Dogs SA/NT can work with you to tailor the sessions to meet your organisation’s needs.

To learn more about our training packages, visit Human Guide Training – Guide Dogs SA/NT, call 1800 757 738 or email partnerships@guidedogs.org.au
