COVID-19 has posed genuine challenges to the business community since March 2020 and while South Australia is no longer in lockdown, Showcase SA continues to monitor the evolving situation and is prepared to deliver events for member packages both in-person and digitally.
For our in-person events, we continue to encourage physical distancing in line with current state government requirements for activities and gatherings.
Our team confirms names of all attendees on behalf of your organisation the day prior to each event, to ensure our compliance with these requirements.
We also require attendees to attend our registration desk prior to entry and sign-in their attendance using single-use pens. This is part of our obligations to maintain accurate records for contact-tracing.
Showcase SA will be complying with the policies of all venues which may require attendees and contractors to show proof of their COVID-19 Certificate (Digital Certificate on their smart device OR printed immunisation certificate) or official medical exemption AND provide personal photo identification to gain entry.
We maintain a COVID Safe Plan will continue to follow state government directives as restrictions change.
Showcase SA has determined that, in the event of a future South Australian lockdown, we will return events to an online environment, including networking events and Professional Development and Training.
In the meantime, we look forward to our future events continuing for members in person! Please ensure you continue to RSVP for events with all attendee information to aid our preparation and COVID-19 compliance. If you are a sudden withdrawal or seek to attend one of our events at late notice, please do not hesitate to call and notify us.
