Natrio is a global company specialising in the import and distribution of high-volume dry chemicals, efficient logistics and supply chain solutions. They are the world’s largest distributor of natural soda ash from their partner ANSAC, American Natural Soda Ash Corporation (now WE Soda) and recognised globally for high levels of service, security of supply, credibility, integrity and regard for the environment.
Natrio’s origin began in Brazil and expanded over the next 25+ years across the globe to become a well-recognised supplier of sustainable products and integrated services. Natrio pioneered the development of state-of-the-art solutions for the distribution of soda ash and expanded port operations throughout the region. It then grew to establish operations in Columbia in 2009, Australia in 2010 and China in 2014, to become the leader in soda ash distribution globally.
Natrio APAC has grown organically and through several strategic acquisitions. In 2019 Natrio purchased Jebsens Logistics Services, part of the Global Jebsen’s Shipping Group, bulk handling specialists focused on agricultural and Industrial products including fertiliser, grain, and feed, and then Axima in 2024, an Australia company with deep expertise in freight forwarding and logistics, with operations in Hong Kong and China. The service portfolio available to Axima clients includes freight forwarding, customs brokerage, 3PL warehousing and distribution and with operations in Hong Kong and China.
These acquisitions have allowed the Natrio Group to expand its logistics services to various industries ensuring the same high service level and reliability. Natrio APAC is a success story within the worldwide group that has successfully expanded beyond its soda ash trading origins into a key player in the bulk handling logistics and freight forwarding sectors in Asia Pacific.
